I'm beyond excited for this journey and I'm blown away by the amount of support shown!

I'm a digital artist and sometimes merch maker. I've been doing art casually my whole life but Hazbin coming out was like drugs to my system and I haven't been able to stop creating since.I have always been an advocate for people being able to explore taboo topics through fiction and use it as a safe and healthy outlet to help us explore and process things.I am super excited to be a part of this project and to help it come into being. I am endlessly proud to be a part of this fandom everyday and to have watched first hand the good it has brought into peoples lives. And with the proceeds of this zine going towards mental health awareness, my only hope is that we can help keep spreading more of that goodness to the world. 💜

I can't say I've had the brainrot from the beginning, mostly because it took a couple months of other Hellaverse related brainrot to even find this ship. But now that I'm here, I've absolutely trapped you all in here with me. :)The possibilities with this fandom for exploration and story telling is something I've not ever witnessed first hand. Not, at least, without a significant amount of backlash. I've always felt that fiction was a beautiful, safe and harmless way to be able to explore dark ideas, thoughts, concepts and so on, but it wasn't until RadioApple that I ever saw Dead Dove so easily embraced.Differences aside, at least we can all agree that Alastor would love to consume Lucifer in all meanings of the word.

For 12 years, I worked as a teacher and supervisor for the department of students with special needs within the public school system in America. Part of my role was caring for, creating plans, and assisting families with their child's disabilities and mental health needs. I specialized with ADHD, ASD, and social/emotional disabilities, which is why mental health has been and will always be vastly important to me.I am excited to be a mod for this zine and looking forward to seeing the creativity of the fandom. Hi everyone, I'm Jucy, a mother and hobby artist, mainly working in the NSFW field, and actually not that long into the dead dove theme.It took me quite a while to get into Radioapple brainrot, but since it grabbed me, it's become an integral part of my life and has taken my art in a direction I never would have thought it would go. I am a free speech advocate and vocally anticensorship.I am also open about my experience as someone who has major depressive disorder. I sought help in 2019 after feeling afraid to seek a diagnosis for over a decade, and now I try to do my part to destigmatize talking about mental health in everyday life. The combination of Lucifer’s depression and Alastor’s asexuality are much of what makes their ship so relatable and compelling for me!I’m excited to be a mod for this zine and support creatives as we delve into heavy material involving our favorite demons!

She/HerHi, I’m Eros! In June 2025, my therapist suggested I watch Hazbin Hotel, and it’s the best advice she’s ever given me. Nowadays, I spend most of my time writing RA fic and screaming about Hazbin on social media.
My mental health journey has been long and arduous. I remember having suicidal ideation at just 12 years old. I finally attempted an overdose in August 2024, which was followed by five days in the hospital and three in the psych ward. As I’m still kicking, I’m very excited to be part of this project and support Befrienders.

^I never got involved with social media or fandom groups until I got into Undertale, although I loved Hazbin Hotel from the jump, enjoying the Pilot and Fansongs and fanart, initially favoring Alastor and AngelDust. But once Season 1 finally dropped I was sucked in and never looked back. ^The moment I saw Lucifer I just connected to him so much, I just empathize so much with him, I’ve been chronically depressed most of my life, and while I never tried to self-delete I have occasionally suffered from suicide/morbid ideation. I just adore the adorable ducky man, and really love to write stories about him, be they dark as pitch or fluffy as marshmallows, and while I’m a proshipper/multishipper I very much favor him with Alastor. I just love their obvious chemistry, and that they could fit nearly every dynamic.I’ve been exploring darker themes in my writing since highschool, but it’s especially easy to find lovely people of similar mindsets in this fandom, and I love how open and friendly these people are!!

On this page we will go over what we expect/need from the creators - and remember all creators must share warnings/tags for their pieces!
This is important! Please do remember that even the original Dead Dove had a warning about what was inside before it was ever seen. Not only do we want to keep fellow fans safe, but we need to protect our mods as well.
Any content involving leaks from season 2 is not allowed. Neither is using your medium as a way to spread misinformation and hate against others! There is absolutely no tolerance for these kinds of things, anyone found doing either will be immediately removed, with or without warning.
Cross My Heart is a RadioApple-only digital zine centering on Alastor and Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel, while Hope To Die is AppleRadio-only. These zines will feature dead dove content, all of which we would suggest eating, divided into three different intensities. Remember the tags we told you to not forget? This is where they come into play first, we will use them as a guideline to sort out just how dead your dove is.
While preference in positions is allowed and always valid, it just so happens that this zine’s preference is RadioApple (Top Alastor, Bottom Lucifer) and we ask that this is respected in the NSFW related content. Switching may be mentioned/referenced in the pieces, but not depicted.
We have another section that is not so much a tier for dove deadness as it is for preference of dove position. Hope To Die is an AppleRadio addon that will feature top Lucifer and bottom Alastor. This will be the only section of the zine where any content of AppleRadio will be.
All characters have to be depicted 18+ in any NSFW scenes, including the dead dove content.
Contributors will be required to submit their progress for every check-in.
These dates can be found on the timeline page. Appropriate mods will be appointed to review your progress and provide feedback as needed/requested.Each contributor can submit up to three dead doves!
Just make sure that you’re not taking on more doves than you should. Your mental health throughout this whole project is extremely important and should not be ignored.
At the beginning of your document/works, please include:

Writers
Writers are responsible for a completed and edited story within the set parameters by the deadline.FIC SPECIFICATIONS:
• Readable font like Serif at 12pt
• Left aligned, 1.5 line spacing with no indentations.
• Add a space after your paragraph.
• Use 3 dashes (-) for scene break
• All fics must be a min of 1k, and a max of 5k (with a 7k hard cap)
• A written list of any tag warningsSpelling and Grammar:
• American and British English spelling & grammar is permitted.
• All work must be looked over by a beta reader
• Writing Mods may also do small spelling or grammar corrections on final pieces.
When it comes time for formatting the zine, please make sure you are available at some point to communicate with the graphics department on how you would like your work presented.All writers will need to have their story(s) read through by a beta reader. You’re welcome to ask someone you know, but there will also be a forum within the zines discord server that will give you the opportunity to reach out and ask - be sure to include what category the idea picked is in and add tags.
Artists
Artists are responsible for a full body, full color piece with at least a simple background revolving around a Dead Dove theme.ART SPECIFICATIONS:
• Fully-rendered illustration
• Resolution - 300+ DPI, no bleeds
• Color Mode - RGB
• Page Art - Portrait / Standard 8.5x11in ( 2550 x 3300 px)
• Art Spread - 5100 x 6600 px
• Comics - 2 pages min, 4 pages max
• Subtle signature / watermark on the below right or left of the illustration
• PNG format
• A written list of any tag warnings.
Given that this is a digital zine, we recommend artist colour in RGB as opposed to CMYK, as RGB works better across all devices, however if you also wished to have a CMYK copy on standby for the possibility of making it into a print then feel free to do so.If for whatever reason the formatting doesn't work well with what you had in mind then please let a mod know and we will discuss this alongside the graphics department.The finished piece(s) must be fully drawn/rendered in your style.If you choose to make a comic or multiple prints etc they must be fully completed and ready by the deadline.

We are allowing a large variety of media to be included in the zine, as long as it follows the Dead Dove theme.To help us keep our digital book cohesive please use the following:Hand crafted items

All creators will have the opportunity/option to collaborate if they wished - so mixing media is allowed and very much welcomed!If for whatever reason you don’t think you’ll be finished by the deadline then please message a mod asap to talk about an extension!Once again we’d like to thank you all for your interest in joining as a creator and helping to support those in need! Remember the point of a zine is to have fun and make things (or kill things)- things you may have not considered making before! So please remember to be kind to others and yourself. 1) You must follow the guidelines for the zine that have been laid out in the guideline page.
2) Please be respectful towards the mods and other people in the server. If there is a problem, please either keep it out of the server, or contact a mod. This includes different headcanons or depictions of characters.
3) There is no hate speech, bigotry, or anything related to that allowed on the server.
4) No minors are allowed. You MUST be over 18 to contribute (or read) this zine. This also includes depictions of minors.
5) Any form of plagiarism is not allowed, including anything made by AI.
6) We ask that you do not share the full piece(s) of your creations outside the zine server until its release on November 2026.> Including it for private portfolios is fine, but please make sure it is not publicly shared.> It is encouraged to share (and to tag the zine!) your wip's! Simply make sure it is not more than 20% of your zine contributions are shared before the zine's release.> Once the zine releases on November 2026, you are free to do anything you want with your creation! We would ask that you still tag the zine when or if it gets posted anywhere to continue to help promote it.
7) If there is any problems that come up with your contributions, please contact a mod ASAP.
8) If you want to contribute to the zine, after you apply, a mod will reach out to you with a discord invite. We ask that everyone joins the server, and at the minimum, keeps ping alerts on.
9) Due to the nature of the zine, we are requiring an age verification. You will need to send a picture ID to one of the Mod Admins. Please cover any identifying information! We only need to see a date of birth.
10) On top of the age verification, we require a form to be signed stating that you are over 18 and understand that there will be repercussions if you are lying about your age.
